I am living in Anchorage, Alaska with my husband, Dale, and two cats, Artesia and Nongal. Currently, I am a first grade teacher with the desire to enter into an elementary library. This is my last semester in IRLS and am looking forward to this class and finishing up the program.

Greetings! This is my last semester here at SIRLS. I came to Tucson from Ohio for school. I recieved my BA in English from Ohio State University. I am looking for a job in a special collections library, but I am broadening my options and starting to look everywhere. I am looking forward to meeting everyone face-to-face.

Hello! In August 2005, I made my move to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona as a full time student. This is my first year as a SIRLS student and hope to finish up by the end of Fall 2006 Semester. I am from Tsaile, AZ and I work at Diné College Library as a cataloger. I plan to go back after I get my MA degree. See you all next week.

Hello everyone! I began an MLS program at the University of Pittsburgh 6 years ago, took some time off to raise children and move across the country, and, like some others, am now in my last semester here at SIRLS. Prior to being a grad student / media center volunteer / mom, I worked in academic law libraries and law firm libraries. I've also had experience editing professional medical journal articles and organizing massive data for law firms. My B.S. in Statistics came in handy for the required Research Methods class. I live in Scottsdale, AZ, and am looking forward to meeting you all soon.

Hi All! I'm currently living here in Tucson- I moved here to be in SRILS from my hometown in Boise, Idaho. I think I'm about 3/4 of the way through the program- I'll be graduating in December. My background is in Anthropology, and I have experience working at law, academic, and public libraries. I think I'm leaning toward a job at an academic library, although I'm very interested in corporate libraries, and more non-traditional "library" type positions that information professionals might hold in the corporate world. See you soon!

Hello all! I lived in Tucson during the last two semesters where I took many classes and worked as a graduate assistant in Special Collections. I recently moved home to Denver where I'll finish the SIRLS program. I received my BA in philosophy from Colorado State and remain passionate about the field. I am currently undecided about my career aspirations but would one day like to teach information related issues in an academic setting. Although weary of the Tucson heat, I look forward to spending an air conditioned week with everyone.
